Resource-saving drilling technology using magnetic-friction effect

The technology is based on a change in the nature of the contact of the drilling tool in the bottom (pressure increase during impact and pressure decrease during rotation), which is provided by an "instantaneous" change in the linear size of the tool due to magnetostriction. At the same time, energy costs for friction are reduced. The technology has been tested as part of the space lunar program and is intended for alien mining in space. The technology is already applicable today in terrestrial conditions in the mining industry.
